ZCD Foundation is currently constructing three primary schools in rural Sierra Leone. These community schools were built on makeshift structure made of perforated thatch, that licks profusely during the rainy season. There are on average 200 pupils . ZCD foundation in collaboration with Amare Stoudemire is working assiduously to enhance education of the poor by giving them opportunities to choose their career. A six-classroom building and 2 three -classroom buildings , a water well and Latrines in each of the three locations are being constructed for the use of pupils and teachers. The project requires, furniture, learning and teaching materials, school support for vulnerable children especially girls, and training for community and untrained teachers. The objective is to enhance Education of potential youth learning at all levels in an environmentally friendly manner.

The foundation currently constructed four hand dug well in four communities. The source of drinking water for the inhabitants is from dirty and contaminated streams and rivers, water also used for all domestic cores. The provision of this hand pump well funded buy London mining Company and implemented by ZCD Foundation, has alleviated sufferings of the inhabitant and reduced the occurrence of preventable water-related diseases; typhoid, diarrhea etc. This component requires working implements and funds for rehabilitation as well as construction.

ZCD Foundation is currently involve in promoting farmers improve their lives and improved livelihood through agricultural support to community based organizations. Currently the ZCD is servicing Over 500 farmers, and cultivating some 250 acres for rice cultivation alone. The Foundation is supporting other forms of agricultural activities, as vegetable production for livelihood ventures. Already purchased a few power tillers to enhance vegetable growing for women engage in income generation. This component require agricultural implement/machineries and inputs( tractors, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides/fumigants etc.)

Amare Stoudemire's "Each One Teach One Foundation" teamed up with Zee Community Development Foundation (ZCD) to build water wells. He visited water well sites in Gao Village and Makereh and met with the Minister of Sports, the Vice President, and President of Sierra Leone. He support the foundation's effort in promoting the welfare of the devastated and impoverished Sierra Leoneans. The work that ZCD Foundation has started with Amare's Foundation in providing clean drinking water is a high priority for majority of the populace and has created a real impact on the lives of at risk communities that have benefitted.The high death toll, particularly with women and children, caused by preventable water- and sanitation-related diseases is being combated with Stoudemire and ZCD's collaborative efforts. Stoudemire's visit wasl not only motivational for youth in sports, but it gave a new face to ZCD's goals in providing all households with safe and clean drinking water, improving the health of the average Sierra Leonean. "WATER IS LIFE" is the motto that the people there live by.
